Figures checked on

Privacy policy

This policy covers https://laborlawbystate.com. Someone checking whether they were underpaid, or when their last paycheck is due, may be in a dispute with an employer. The calculators were written so that none of that information leaves the browser. The publisher is established in France, so the EU General Data Protection Regulation applies to everything the site does, and the rights it gives are open to every visitor wherever they live.

This site sets no cookie, and the calculators store nothing on your device.

1. Who is responsible

Radif Partners
49 rue du Ressort
63000 Clermont-Ferrand, France
contact@laborlawbystate.com

2. What never leaves your browser

Your hourly pay, salary, hours and shifts, last day of work, months of service, the size of your employer and anything else you type are processed by code running on your own device. They are never sent to us, to an employer or to an agency. The "copy share link" button puts your figures into the page address so you can send the calculation to someone; whoever receives the link sees them.

3. What is processed

Hosting logs

The host records the IP address, time, requested page and browser type of each request to keep the service secure. Legal basis: legitimate interest. Retention follows the host's policy.

Anonymous stability monitoring, without cookies

To find broken pages, the site loads Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, One Microsoft Place, Dublin) in cookie-free mode: errors, load times, dead clicks and scrolling are measured per page view, without cookies and without linking visits, and page content and everything typed are masked. Legal basis: legitimate interest in a working site.

Emails

If you write to us, we keep your address and message to answer, and delete them three years after the last exchange. Please do not send pay stubs, your employer's name or a case number: the state and the rule you question are enough.

4. No sale, no sharing

We do not sell personal information, do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising and do not build profiles.

5. Recipients and transfers

The host may process request data in the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

6. Your rights

You may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, or object to processing, by writing to contact@laborlawbystate.com; we answer within one month. You may also complain to the Commission nationale de l'informatique et des libertés (CNIL) (https://www.cnil.fr). Residents of US states with privacy laws have the same rights through the same address.

7. Children

Teen workers are welcome to read the pages; the site collects nothing from anyone, children included.

General information, not legal advice: the calculators apply the published federal and state rules to the numbers you enter. Union contracts, local ordinances, industry wage orders and exemptions can change the answer; the state labor agency decides a wage claim.
